Almost a year after Ludacris was in court wrangling over child support payments, he’s been granted full custody of his 13-month-old daughter, Cai.

Ludacris, who married longtime girlfriend Eudoxie Mbouguiyengue over the holidays, has been involved in a lengthy court battle with the child’s mother, Tamika Fuller, about custody and child support.

“After review of all the evidence, the testimony of the witnesses, the report of the guardian ad litem, and the claims made throughout this entire case, I am gratified that the judge found me to be the most fit and proper parent to have primary physical custody of our beautiful daughter,” Ludacris told People magazine.

The Atlanta rapper-actor (legally known as Chris Bridges) has a 13-year-old daughter, Karma, from a previous relationship.

Ludacris will be seen in “Furious 7,” which partially filmed in Atlanta, when it’s released April. 3. His long-awaited “Ludaversal” album is due March 31.
