Spree Wilson is tired of 'Counterfeit' images of black women


The portrayal of black women in the media, and Hollywood is a heated topic of conversation that doesn't seem to be dying down anytime soon. You don't have brush up on Melissa Harris-Perry's MSNBC controversy, or sift through a thinkpiece about Zoe Saldana's apparent blackface in the forthcoming Nina biopic to know that while there has been progress for women of color, there's still a ways to go.
