The A List: Young Thug pays tribute to Prince, and more music news


The Masquerade will continue operating at its current facility for two more years (or less), former Creative Loafing writer Max Blau reports at Atlanta Magazine. The date for a move remains TBD, but there are shows booked through the fall.

Young Thug paid tribute to the recently departed Prince last Monday in New York — read about it at Billboard.

Mrs. Magician's new LP, Bermuda — produced by John Reis, whose band Drive Like Jehu plays the Wrecking Ball this August — is out May 20 via SWAMI, but you can listen to the track "Eyes All Over Town" right now via Consequence of Sound. The group plays the Drunken Unicorn on Fri., May 27, with Black Linen and Twin Criminal

Pinkwash's full-length debut, Collective Sighs, comes out this Fri., May 13, via Don Giovanni, but you can stream the entire thing right now via Consequence of Sound.…
