Pop Weirdos occupy an underserved niche in Atlanta's music scene. Like their name implies, the singer-songwriter duo of Bennett Kane and Jamison Murphy craft off-kilter pop music with unabashed joy, reveling in catchy melodies without obscuring them in lo-fi production or sheets of reverb.
The duo's latest tracks, "Alcudia" and "Mid Life," were recorded by Kane at the Tone Loft, and show promise for the recently-formed group.
