DJ Burn One and the Five Points Bakery's trippy pool party

Earlier this year, DJ Burn One and the Five Points Bakery released Canapé, an instrumental album more in line with Francophiles than hip-hop heads. Well, sometimes as a producer you want to let the music do the talking ("Voix" is French for "voices" after all), and Burn and Co. trade in Southern rap verses for a project that one might in find being cooked up in the studio of J. Dilla's Parisian twin.

The video for "Voix," shot by Burn One, Hollow, and Dez the Genius — and edited by the three along with Oziren — involves what can only be described as the loneliest synchronized swimmer doing her thing in a pool.…
