Chandra Currelley Sits down with Jermaine Sain of When We Speak

Singer/ Actress, Chandra Currelley, is most recognized from her extensive work with director, Tyler Perry.  She also play the role of Miss V in his show, For Better Or For Worse on Oprah Winfrey's OWN network.

Michael Jai White posed for the photo above as he partied in Atlanta during ATLLive on the Park earlier this week (CLICK HERE for more photos).

The actor, who is currently featured on Tyler Perry’s ‘For Better or Worse’ recently took to his facebook page to pen an open letter to all of the girl’s he’s loved before (cue Willie Nelson).

Following years of trial and error with romantic relationships, it appears that White has had an epiphany of sorts when it comes to dating, love and his all of his former girlfriends.

In his letter, White details the issues he’s encountered in his many relationships and how women were “crazy” with their relationship demands, stating:

As a man, you have to deal with hand holding, ‘yes dearing,’ and freaking cuddling! I endured this for years until my relationships reached their natural demise due to some natural chemistry flaw between us or the woman’s natural chemical imbalance- Yes I said it…

I believed all women were crazy and the only choice a man had was to decide exactly how much crazy he’s willing to deal with to sustain a relationship.

Club Shots: Comedian Mike Epps Hosts Compound… [PHOTOS]

Comedian Mike Epps played host to Compound Nightclub in Atlanta last Saturday night (April 11, 2015).

Epps, aka (Day-Day from the ‘Friday’ movie series) was in Atlanta over the weekend performing his live stand-up routine during the ‘Festival Of Laughs’ concert, which also featured the talent of fellow comedians Bruce Bruce, Earthquake and Adele Givens.

Mike Epps has been known to turn up and turn out around town…

The Real Housewives of Atlanta aired the 22nd episode of its dramatic 7th season last night (April 12, 2015).

Last week, the ladies were feeling all ‘peaceful’ after embarking on a zen getaway to the Philippines.

Well, this week episode is appropriately titled ‘Chasing Nay-Nay,’ as newbie Clawdia Jordan opts for a refund on her ‘peacemaker’ title. Order is restored as the ladies return to Atlanta and resume all the hateful antics they are known for.

Bravo synopsis:

The ladies return to Atlanta from the Philippines and immediately get back to work. Kenya is in the midst of shooting her pilot, Life Twirls On, as Cynthia strives to perfect her accent for the role as a Jamaican salon owner. Meanwhile, Kandi and Todd attempt to go on a romantic date, but Todd drops a bomb that leaves Kandi torn. Phaedra continues to feel the rippling effect of Apollo’s absence and is inspired to throw a charity event. Things take a turn when NeNe makes a cameo from New York and exchanges words with Claudia.

Kenya Moore of The Real Housewives of Atlanta got ‘wiggy’ with it for the current cover of Kontrol Magazine.

Model, actress, producer, director Kenya Moore stuns on the spring cover of Kontrol Magazine. Totally unrecognizable, Kenya switched up her look with bangs and looks like another supermodel; Naomi Campbell. Styled by Julian R. Lark, Kenya served fashion with brands like with brands like Ralph Lauren, Valentino, and Roberto Cavalli.

In the issue, Kenya dishes on a few of her RHOA castmates, referring to Nene Leakes as ‘disgusting & evil’ for not cutting the check to Detroit Public Schools and shares her take on ending her ‘feud’ with Phaedra Parks.

Tavis Smiley Criticizes ‘Empire’ for Portraying WORST of Black Culture + Lee Daniels Responds… [VIDEO]

The hit Fox series EMPIRE left it’s mark with stellar ratings for it’s premier season but it seems that while the scripted urban drama has its fans, it also has an equitable share of critics.

Tavis Smiley is one EMPIRE’s detractors, and he voiced his opinion about the show’s lack of positive characters during a recent interview with Larry King, stating that the popular show reflects the ‘worst’ of black people.

“There is a debate in the black community that hasn’t really surfaced, hasn’t really boiled to the top yet, but I hear it in barbershops and other places,” Smiley says,

“that whether the problem with Empire is that it advances the worst of every pathology that black people have—crime and drug dealing and this and that and the other. A lot of people are looking for positive characters that may come out in the second season. But the first season, everybody is like, ‘Arhhh!’ ” Smiley stated.
