New Orleans four-piece Pears' deft blend of classic hardcore and melodic punk makes the group a crown jewel of the current Fat Wreck Cords roster. Not too shabby for a band that formed less than two years ago.
With September's "Letters to Memaw" 7-inch still finding its way to punks of all ages' turntables, and talks of a second album hitting shelves sometime next year, don't expect this group's snowballing momentum to hit a skid anytime soon.…
